The markets observed a dynamic trading session with the NIFTY 500 index displaying a mixed bag of performances. Notably, NBCC (India) Limited emerged as the top performer, while MMTC Limited fell behind.

NBCC (India) Limited led the charge with an impressive 9.52% hike, closing at Rs. 70.75. The company’s main operations involve project management consultancy and real estate development, serving both domestic and international markets.

Minda Corporation Limited and LTIMindtree Limited also marked significant gains, with their stock prices increasing by 6.61% and 5.87% respectively. On the other hand, Alok Industries Limited (ALOKINDS.NS) witnessed a 5.54% rise in its share price.

On the flip side, MMTC Limited experienced a significant dip of 9.95%, closing at Rs. 70.60. The trading company has a robust presence in international markets like Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Astral Limited also suffered a substantial drop of 6.09%, closing at Rs. 1843.85.

Indraprastha Gas LimitedAPL Apollo Tubes Limited, and Bandhan Bank Limited rounded off the bottom five performers list, with their stocks decreasing by 4.80%, 3.77%, and 3.76% respectively.
