India’s IT Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar took to Twitter to share his meeting with Keyvan Esfarjani, the Global COO of Intel Corporation. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on Wednesday.
What Happened: The duo discussed the potential to enhance the existing India-Intel partnership. Chandrasekhar indicated that the focus areas included semiconductors, electronics, artificial Intelligence, global talent requirements, research and infrastructure.
Notably, Chandrashekhar worked at Intel from 1988 to 1991 as part of the architectural team that designed the i486 processor.
