Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inked a multi-year partnership with British retail giant Asda, aimed at supporting Asda’s digital transformation. This transformative alliance comes on the heels of Asda’s divestiture from US giant Walmart.
What Happened: TCS said it will leverage its expertise in cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity to assist Asda in executing a seamless, secure and timely divestiture. Beyond this, TCS will aid Asda in improving its customer experience and foster innovation to bolster its market share and maintain its position in the retail sector.
Key facets of the partnership include the establishment of a new digital core through the implementation of multiple cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
