Anubhav Dubey, co-founder of Chai Sutta Bar, epitomizes the essence of entrepreneurial resilience and innovation. Born in 1996 in Rewa district, Madhya Pradesh, Anubhav, despite hailing from a business-oriented family, faced familial pressure to become an IAS officer. However, after a series of unsuccessful attempts at competitive exams, he embraced his entrepreneurial spirit.

What to Know? In 2016, with limited funds and a vision, Anubhav, alongside Anand Nayak, launched the first Chai Sutta Bar in Indore, opposite a girls' hostel. The duo introduced ‘Taste The Kulhad Chai' in a unique bar-like environment, emphasizing health and well-being by strictly prohibiting smoking. This innovative concept, blending rich Indian culture with modernity, resonated with the youth, turning Chai Sutta Bar into a nationwide sensation.

The initial journey was marked by challenges, competition, and resource constraints. However, Anubhav and Anand's commitment to quality and their diverse range of 20 flavours quickly garnered a loyal customer base, especially among college students. The brand's environmentally conscious approach, serving tea in traditional kulhads, and its support to local potter families underscore its commitment to sustainability and community development.

Looking forward: From its humble beginnings, Chai Sutta Bar has experienced exponential growth, with 165 outlets across India, Dubai, and Oman, becoming the largest ‘Kulhad Tea Franchise’ in India and achieving a turnover of ₹150 crores.

Anubhav's story is a powerful reminder that passion, perseverance, and a keen understanding of market needs can transform simple ideas into thriving businesses, impacting communities and inspiring generations.
