Anand Mahindra, chairperson of Mahindra & Mahindra, tweeted about the importance of keeping it simple when trying achieve workplace tasks.

What Happened: On Monday, Mahindra took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his thoughts on the complexity and difficulty faced in certain workplace tasks. He suggested that sometimes, the tasks may be made unnecessarily complicated, and a simpler method might suffice to accomplish the same target.

He shared an image of Kyrgyz contortionist and circus performer Chynara Madinkulova firing an arrow with her feet while doing a handstand on crutches to illustrate his point. “Sometimes it may feel as if what you're being asked to accomplish at your workplace is far too difficult & complex. Like the feat by the young woman on the left,” mahindra said.

He went on to say that it may be worth considering if there’s an easier way to accomplish a seemingly complicated task using basic tools.

The picture is from the World Nomad Games, a biennial event that includes dozens of traditional Turkic pastimes, ranging from horseback wrestling to strategy games. The picture, taken by a Russian photographer at the 2016 edition of the games, went viral following the stunt.
