Google’s gearing up to introduce its Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones to the Indian market. In a recent teaser, the tech behemoth hinted at a vibrant Rose (or Pink) shade for the Pixel 8, adding a splash of colour to its lineup.
What Happened? Set to launch on October 4, Google playfully teased, “Great things come in eights.” Eager fans can mark October 5 on their calendars for pre-orders, with Flipkart being the go-to platform for purchase, as per the annual tradition.
What we know: But there’s more in Google’s bag. Alongside the phones, another teaser hinted at the Pixel 8 Pro and the Pixel Watch 2. A quick glimpse of TWS earbuds resembling the Pixel Buds Pro also made an appearance. This could indicate either a revamped version of the earphones or a fresh colour variant aligning with the Pixel phones.
As for the colour palette, buzz suggests the Pixel 8 might dazzle in four shades: Hazel, Obsidian, Rose, and Mint. Its Pro counterpart, on the other hand, might grace us in Obsidian, Porcelain, and Mint. Under the hood, both phones are expected to house the Tensor G3 chip, with the Pro variant potentially boasting a Night Sight video feature.
