Shah Rukh Khan‘s much-anticipated film “Jawan” is already creating waves even before its official release. The advance booking status reveals a record-breaking number of tickets sold.
What Happened: Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to X, formerly Twitter, to share the impressive advance booking numbers for “Jawan.” As of Tuesday, 10:45 am, national chain PVR INOX reported a combined sale of 2.50 lakh tickets. Cinepolis added another 53,000 to the tally, bringing the total to a whopping 3.03 lakh tickets sold for the film’s first day. Adding Miraj Cinemas number takes it over 3.31 lakh.
The ensemble cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone, is set to capture screen across the country from Thursday. It is Khan’s second release of the year, after Pathaan which was released in January, and was a huge success at the box office.
