Adani Green shares were volatile on Monday afternoon, as the company posted its earnings for the quarter ended June.
What Happened: The Adani Group company’s consolidated profits soared up 50% to ₹322 crore in the June quarter as compared to the ₹214 crore profit it booked in the year-ago period. The company’s revenue from operations came in at ₹2,176 crore, up 33% from the year-ago period.
Revenue from the power supply business was up by 55% year-over-year at ₹2,059 crore. EBITDA for the power supply segment stood at ₹1,938 crore with an EBITDA margin of 92.5%. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at ₹1.85
The energy giant’s operational capacity increased by 43% YoY to 8,316 MW. The sale of energy increased by 70% YoY at 6,023 mn units in the June quarter.
Price Action: Adani Green’s share price was down 0.16% to trade at ₹1,090.80 in the late hours of trading on Monday.
