Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma on Monday morning ran a poll with his Twitter followers on the social media platform’s rebranding.

Sharma asked the users whether they would prefer for the Elon Musk-owned platform to stick to its content-only approach under the Twitter brand or realise the billionaire’s ambitions for a “superapp” under the X branding.

As of the time of writing in the afternoon, about 60% of the 1,294 people participating had voted in favour of seeing “many more things” under the X.com.
