On Monday, Sonata Software Limited announced its plans to build and manage a digital hub in India for Germany-based TUI Group.

What Happened: The strategic collaboration aims to build cutting-edge digital solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiencies, the company said in a statement.

“Our partnership with Sonata Software and the creation of a Digital Hub in India marks a significant milestone in our enduring relationship. This collaboration reinforces our long-term strategic vision to drive digital transformation and foster innovation,” said Marc Jennings, CIO Analytics & Customer, TUI Group.

“The Digital Hub will empower us to tap into a vast pool of talent and develop cutting-edge digital solutions, propelling us towards sustained growth and delivering unparalleled travel experiences to our customers.”

Why It Matters: This development comes on the heels of Sonata Software’s shares hitting a 52-week high. The company also bagged its largest-ever contract in terms of the contract value in April.

The company in May also teamed up with Microsoft to debut a new data analytics platform, Fabric.

The establishment of a Digital Hub in India may further solidify Sonata Software’s position in the IT sector.

Price Action: Sonata Software shares traded 1.4% higher at ₹1,008 at the time of writing on Tuesday.
