Shares of Tata Motors, Titan and Tata Communications were all surging in the green in early trade on Tuesday. Rekha Jhunjhunwala owns a significant in all three Tata Group companies.
With the rally today, the three stocks have added over ₹280 crore to Jhunjhunwala’s net worth today.
Starting with Tata Communications, as per the latest shareholding data, Jhunjhunwala owns a 1.79% stake in the company, translating to around 5,100,687 shares of the company. Now, when the stock closed at ₹1,478.55, the value of her stake was around ₹754.16 crore. With the surge today, the value of her holding went up to ₹761.7 crore.

Now moving on to, one of Jhunjhunwala’s biggest bets, Titan. She owns around 5.29% or 4,69,45,970 shares of the company. On Monday, when the stock closed at ₹2,852.60, her stake was worth around ₹13,391.8 crore. Today, with the surge, the value of her stake went up to ₹13,631.2 crore.
Jhunjhunwala owns around Jhunjhunwala owns 52,256,000 shares in the company. When the stock closed at ₹564.15 on Monday, her stake was worth around ₹2948.02 crore. As the stock continued its bull run today, the value of her holding went up to ₹2,984.07 crore.
In total the three stocks added over ₹280 crore to her net worth today. The major chunk of it came from Titan, which added around ₹240 crore.
Price Action: Titan’s share price was up 1.84% to trade at ₹2,905 in the early hours of trading on Tuesday. Tata Motors’ share price was up 0.40% to trade at ₹566.40. Tata Comm’s share price was up 2.29% to trade at ₹1,512.45.
