Bharti Airtel has won the cloud and content delivery network (CDN) mandate from the Ministry of Education‘s Digital India Corporation (DIC) for DIKSHA, India’s national platform for open education digital content.
What Happened? Under the new agreement, Airtel will power DIKSHA’s mobile application and website through its cloud and CDN services.
This mandate aims to enhance accessibility for students across the country, including those in remote and far-flung areas. Airtel Cloud will also lead the migration of DIKSHA to Oracle Cloud, providing managed services alongside CDN solutions.

DIKSHA offers over 9,300 courses available in more than 35 Indian languages. It has clocked more than 50 billion learning sessions and over 60 billion minutes of usage by students. With Airtel’s advanced cloud and CDN services, DIKSHA aims to further expand its reach and offer a more robust learning experience to millions of children nationwide.

In addition to powering DIKSHA, Airtel said it will look to enable smooth and reliable content delivery in preferred local languages on India’s largest digital education content platform using its low-latency and high-bandwidth Edge CDN solution.
