Deloitte Bolsters Global Reach With Trio Of New Indian Offices

Deloitte has revealed plans to open three new delivery offices in Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata, a strategy devised to meet the rising demand for adept professionals in Deloitte’s advisory businesses.

What Happened? Per a Mint report, the announcement came on Sunday, marking an expansion in Deloitte’s global service capabilities.

The firm projects that in the upcoming year, these locations will house over 10,000 skilled professionals. These specialists will span diverse domains such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud, human capital, assurance, tax, valuations, and mergers & acquisitions.

An emphasis on innovative learning approaches, digital skills development, and training opportunities forms a key part of Deloitte’s future investment plan for its workforce, aiming to enrich and expand its talent pool.

This move underscores Deloitte’s acknowledgement of the exceptional talent available in India and the increasing opportunities in business services exports. The move comes just days after the company’s offices were reportedly searched by the Enforcement Directorate. The search was said to be in connection to an ongoing money-laundering investigation into IL&FS Financial Services
