Zomato‘s BlinkIt has been taking a hit on the ground and on social media as delivery partners strike over changes in the payout structure.
What Happened: A BlinkIt Spokesperson told Benzinga that most of the company’s stores were now operational in strike hit Delhi NCR. The statement comes as several delivery partners of the company went on strike last week over a change in the payout structure.

The spokesperson further said that the quick commerce company is engaging with delivery partners about the new changes. “We continue to engage with all delivery partners to help them understand the new payout structure,” the spokesperson added.
There are also media reports that the company has decided to close some of its dark stores in the region permanently in light of the strikes. The exact number of stores being shut is not certain, but media reports suggest that the company has informed its delivery partners that some of the stores are being permanently shut.
