Apple announced the opening of its first India store in Mumbai on April 18 and is now opening its doors to customers in Delhi on April 20.
What Happened? The barricade for the new store, located in the Select Citywalk Mall in Delhi’s Saket, was revealed on Monday morning through a newsroom post. The design of the store’s barricade is inspired by Delhi’s famous gates, symbolising the city’s past.
Apple stated that the new retail locations in Delhi and Mumbai represent a significant expansion into India, offering new ways for customers to browse, discover, and buy Apple products, along with exceptional service and experiences.
The Apple Delhi store, dubbed ‘Apple Saket’ will open for customers on April 20 at 10 am IST.
"The colourful artwork celebrates Apple's second store in India — located right in the nation's capital. Beginning April 20, customers will be able to stop by to explore Apple's latest product lineup, find creative inspiration, and get personalized service and support from the store's team of specialists, creatives, and geniuses," Apple said in its newsroom post.
Additionally, Apple’s Delhi store will allow users to trade in an eligible device for credit toward their next purchase with the company.
