Netflix‘s high school thriller ‘CLASS‘ has been making waves since its release last month. The web series is still on top of Netflix India’s Top 10 shows list.
The eight-series show directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, Gul Dharmani, and Kabir Mehta is an adaptation of the Spanish Series ‘Elite.‘
So what’s the show’s stock market connection? One of the show’s producers Bodhi Tree Multimedia is a listed company on the stock exchanges. The production house today in a regulatory filing said the show has
become a global success as it also entered the global top 10 shows list on Netflix in the week

According to the company, the crime drama was watched for 99,10,000 hours that week globally. The company further added that the show has been trending in the top 10 in more than 13 countries.
However, the news seems to have done little to cheer up the investors as the stock has been taking a beating at the bourses on Wednesday. It has slumped around 6.5% in the last five sessions. However, the stock is up around 1.51% in the past month.
Price Action: At the time of writing, shares of Bodhi Tree Multimedia were down 0.78% to trade at ₹165.
