Just when fans were getting ready to watch the high-voltage batting of the Indian cricket team, Walt Disney Co.’s Disney+ Hotstar stopped working — and Twitter is now nothing short of a full-blow memefest. 

What Happened: On Friday, during India vs. Australia’s second Test match, Hotstar started showing errors for some users in the country — and at the time of writing, the service started working on a few accounts.

After users flocked to Twitter to share screenshots of the error the site was showing, the company responded in acknowledgement, saying they were “working” to resolve the issue as soon as possible. 

The outage was platform-wide, as users reported that Hotstar was not working on smartphones, tablets, TV, or even the website. 

Benzinga verified the outage independently and found the service is now working for some users and they are able to stream the match live.
