Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is gearing up for the rising demand for AI by training over 500,000 software engineers in generative AI skills.

In the investment phase, TCS aims to develop one of the world's largest AI-equipped workforces, having already trained over 150,000 employees in seven months.

Despite limited current applications of generative AI, TCS sees a significant shift on the horizon and is working on 250 projects powered by AI technology.
