Google's decision to remove several Indian apps from its Play Store over billing disputes has sparked criticism from the affected companies' founders, executives, and users on social media.

Among the delisted apps are well-known platforms like BharatMatrimony, Jeevansathi, 99 Acres, Naukri.com, and Shaadi.com.

Co-founders and executives, such as Anupam Mittal of Shaadi.com and Sanjeev Bikchandani of Info Edge, protested against the move, stating compliance with Google's policies and urging regulatory action.

The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) condemned the delisting, urging Google to reinstate the apps, while responses on social media varied, with some blaming Google's monopoly and others critiquing Indian companies for their reliance on foreign platforms.
