The streaming giant’s India unit lost around 28 lakh subscribers between July and September. Disney+ Hotstar subscribers stood at 3.76 crore at the end of September.
Ever Since the company lost the streaming rights to the IPL to Mukesh Ambani, it has lost around 2.3 crore subscribers.
Amidst all this, there is also a string of rumours of a possible sale of India assets, but CEO Bob Iger has said that he would like to stay in the India market.
