Perplexity AI CEO Confident In Rivaling Giants Like Google, ChatGPT: Here's Why

Perplexity AI’s CEO, Aravind Srinivas, expressed confidence in the generative AI search engine’s ability to compete with giants like Google Bard and OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

What Happened? In an interview with Hindu Businessline, Srinivas highlighted that Google’s reliance on ad revenues limits its potential in deploying AI-driven search engines like Google Bard. He explained that Google earns through link views and clicks, a model potentially disrupted by generative AI search engines.

Srinivas asserted that Perplexity AI, unlike Google, does not rely on ads and has no immediate plans to include them. He emphasized maintaining the integrity of their interface, ensuring users trust their answers.
